How to Make a “Heartfelt Thanks & Scallops” Card
I really love this die-cut set called “Heartfelt Thanks & Scallops”! You can make a whole card from just this one set! Easy, fast, & you can make so many variations. I made 2 cards (above pic) in approx. 30 mins. I’m going to show you how to make the card, in the above pic, on the left side. I used glitter, metallic & brushed metallic cardstock for the die-cut pieces. For my card base, I used a brushed metallic cardstock that matched some of the heart die-cuts. Are you ready? Below are the step-by-step instructions:
Instructions:
- Cut a 4.25″ x 11″ out of cardstock & colors of your choice.
- Cut a 4″ x 10.75″ out of linen paper to line the inside of the card. This just makes the card look finished & more substantial.
- With your die-cut machine, cut the scalloped teal glitter card panel with the largest scalloped rectangle die cut included in this set.
- Cut the scalloped teal foil card panel with the next down-in-size scalloped rectangle die cut also included.
- Cut the scalloped teal brushed metallic card panel with the next down-in-size rectangle die cut also included.
- Cut the silver metallic hearts out of the die-cut hearts that are included. There are 5 sizes of heart die-cuts with set. I used 4 of the sizes from largest down.
- Cut out the “thanks” sentiment from the die-cut included in set. I used the brushed metallic cardstock that matched some of the hearts. (The set also includes the “offset” of the word “thanks”-I just didn’t use it for this card.)
- Then add embellishments wherever you wish!

I hope this card was enjoyable to make & as easy as I said it would be! If you are interested in another card-making post, see “How to Make an Easy Uplifting Card” here. Below, I added affiliate links for products I used in making the card. Thank you for your support! That’s all for now!
