Death by Chocolate Recipe
Ingredients you’ll need
To get started making this recipe, you’ll first want to gather all your ingredients first.
Here is what you’ll need:
1 box
1 Box
Brownie Mix + Ingredients to prepare
Instant chocolate pudding + milk to prepare
1- 8 oz.
Cool Whip (Standard Size)
1 cup
Heath Bits
1 bar Chocolate Bar (optional) – shavings for garnish
You can use a kitchen peeler to create pretty chocolate curls for top.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare brownies as directed, bake & cool. Prepare chocolate pudding as directed, refrigerate until set.
Step 2: Once cooled, cube brownies into bite size pieces.
Step 3: After pudding is chilled, mix half of the prepared pudding in a separate bowl with half of the Cool Whip. (Pic is just the pudding mix.)
Step 4: Layer in dish: brownies, pudding, pudding + Cool Whip, Cool Whip
Step 5: On top of final Cool Whip, sprinkle the Heath bits on the top of dessert. Also, use your peeler & the chocolate bar to make shavings to garnish the top of the dessert (along with the Heath bits).
Can you believe just how easy that was? It’s better if you make this the night before your event & let it sit in the refrigerator overnight, but you can also make & serve right away.
