Better Than Sex Cake
This cake gets better with each day. The longer it sits, the more the caramel & sweetened condensed milk combo soaks into the cake. I recommend making it at least a day or two beforehand.
Ingredients you’ll need
To get started making this recipe, you’ll first want to gather all your ingredients first.
Here is what you’ll need:
1 box
Devil’s Food cake mix
14 oz./1 can
sweetened condensed milk
12 oz./1 jar
caramel ice cream topping
8 oz.
cool whip
1/2- 1 cup
Heath toffee bits
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1: Bake cake according to directions on box.
Step 2: Remove cake from oven & immediately poke holes all over the top using the bottom of a wooden spoon (or anything else that resembles that).
Step 3: In medium bowl, stir together the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce. Slowly drizzle the mixture all over the top of the cake.
Step 4: Allow cake to cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Step 5: Spread the cool whip all over the top of the cake, top with the Heath toffee bits & refrigerate again for a least 1 hour. Serve cold & refrigerate any leftovers.
